Dexter & Plaid is a luxury full-service interior design studio based in Leesburg, VA, that creates timeless, expressive spaces rooted in warmth, nostalgia, and collaboration.

Their founder embraces a process-driven, experimental approach (part “mad scientist,” part illustrator) where sketchbooks, raw ideas and unexpected textures play a prominent role. In designing their brand identity, we leaned into that dual nature of craft and curiosity by introducing hand-drawn sketch-style elements and playful, exploratory layouts. We integrated layered plaid textures and warm-toned color palettes as a nod to the studio’s name and to reflect the signature richness of their furnishings and interiors. The result is an identity system that feels intentionally messy in its making, yet polished in its presentation – mirroring the way Dexter & Plaid designs rooms: thoughtful, adventurous, and deeply personal.
